PROGRAM DESIGN & GALA EVENT SIGNAGE
Client: The Darling Home for Kids
OBJECTIVE
The Darling Home for Kids is an organization that provides high-quality respite for medically fragile, technology dependant, and in some cases terminally ill children. Employed by expert nurses, caregivers and countless volunteers, The Darling Home for Kids provides a safe and caring home away from home for many children and parents in need of help. Each year, The Darling Home for Kids holds a fundraising event called the Comfort and Joy Gala in hopes of raising funds for their worthy cause.
EXECUTION
On the year of Canada’s 150th birthday, this particular gala named “Pearls n’ Plaid” was developed with a theme showcasing a quintessential ‘Canadiana’ theme. Taking inspiration from Canada’s great outdoors and the woodland creatures that inhabit this great country - the program, along with all the event’s signage and print/web promotions were created together to support this theme and generate excitement for the upcoming event.
